Arxan, located in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of northern China, is a popular tourist destination known as the "Little Switzerland of China". Here are some of its notable views:Arxan National Forest Park: It is the top attraction in Arxan, featuring Asia's largest volcanic landform complex. The park has many scenic spots, such as Tianchi, which is 1,332.3 meters above sea level. It is the third-highest alpine lake in China, with clear water like a mirror, reflecting the surrounding green pines and white birches. Shitanglin is Asia's largest basalt landscape on an extinct volcano, with strange lava formations in the shape of swords, men, and troops. There is also Camel Hump Lake, a volcanic crater lake that reflects the golden larch trees in autumn, and the Non-freezing River, which remains unfrozen at -40°C due to geothermal heat.Arxan Railway Station: Built in 1937 with a Japanese architectural style, it is known as "China's most beautiful small station." The warm yellow walls and green windows make it look like a station out of a fairy tale, resembling Swiss stations. Even when it is closed during non-service hours, the exterior is still accessible, making it a great place for taking photos.White Wolf Deer Village: Made famous by the TV show "Dear Inn," it is about a 1-hour drive from Arxan. Here, visitors can feed deer with corn, getting close to these cute animals and enjoying a unique pastoral experience.Haraha River: It is located in the San Tan Gorge of Arxan National Forest Park. The river is surrounded by mountains and lush forests, with clear water flowing through it. In winter, the river does not freeze, and there is often mist rising, creating a mysterious and beautiful scene.Wusu Langzi Lake: Surrounded by mountains, the lake water is very clear. In the morning after sunrise, there is often mist floating on the lake, adding a hazy beauty to the scenery, like a fairyland on earth.
