Fishing in Fuzhou, Fujian, China resumed at 12:00 on August 16, 2025.As the East China Sea's fishing moratorium was lifted, 926 fishing vessels in Fuzhou set sail for a new round of fishing operations. To ensure the smooth departure of fishing vessels and maintain the navigation order of commercial and fishing vessels, the Fuzhou Maritime Safety Administration carried out the "2025 Escort for Fishing Season Action". It dispatched a total of 6 sorties of patrol boats, with a navigation time of 17 hours, a voyage of 127 nautical miles, 24 personnel, and 5 sorties of drones. Additionally, on the day of the fishing resumption, maritime, coast guard, and fishery law enforcement vessels launched the "Commercial-Fishing Co-governance 2025" joint maritime patrol and law enforcement operation.
